I am at Live Earth,New York (It's really in New Jersey). Live Earth is a worldwide concert to raise awareness about global warming. Live Earth is taking place on all 7 continents featuring over 100 performers to spark a global movement to solve the global climate crisis. All artists are donating their time in an effort to raise money along with awareness.
This is my first live blog, I am at the event now. This was a busy morning for the aloft a-go-go. I am at the Sheraton Meadowland across the street from the event. This is the home base for Live Earth New York and most of the performers and crew are staying here. Many of them have gone to the event and things have slowed down. I've handed out hundreds of Refresh Towelettes and they were much appreciated by everyone.
Chad Lowe and The Smashing Pumpkins were a few of our better known visitors to the go-go this morning. They were all very nice and interested in aloft Hotels.
So I just got home from the Live Earth concert and turned on the t.v.. The host's for the broadcast on Bravo look really familiar. Maybe that's because I saw them two hours ago! Dave Holmes and Karen Duffy came by the go-go and hung out for about a half hour. They were waiting on their ride and I completely didn't recognize them. I must start reading US Weekly. I can't believe I missed a photo with them.
